Blenheim Gardens RMO’s Garden kitchen is available for hire! The space is FREE to rent although you need to provide a deposit of £100.00 for the BBQ grills and equipment.
Below are the conditions of use and health and safety you need to be aware of when using the area.

CONDITIONS OF USE:
- Please leave the area clean and tidy
- Please ensure all rubbish including food waste and cold charcoal ashes are cleared away and removed to the bins provided (metal bin for cold ashes only)
- Children are always supervised
- The BBQ grilles and utensils are used safely, and their use is always supervised
- No Pets or other animals allowed in the area at any time
- BBQ grilles and utensils are cleaned and returned to the RMO complete and in full working order
- All incidents and or near misses are reported to the RMO office
- Any damage and or breakages to be reported to the RMO office
- You remain responsible for all users and visitors to the area during the event
- You will not allow or permit any persons to touch or interfere with the planters in the area at any time
- The area may also be used by other residents who are attending to their growing areas during your event
- To use the BBQ facility, a £100.00 refundable deposit is required. The deposit will be returned if all conditions of use have been adhered to and maintained during the lease period.
As a resident managed organisation (RMO), we are responsible for the management of all areas of the estate including the Garden Kitchen facility. Below are a few issues that you need to be aware of:
- The immediate barbecue area is limited to a maximum of 10 peoples at one time
- No pets / animals are allowed in the Garden Kitchen area at any time
- Alcohol consumption is not permitted unless an appropriate licence has been obtained by you from the Local Authority – evidence is required on booking
- No loud music before 8.30 am or after 9.30 pm (Monday to Sunday).
- It is your responsibility to check if you require an events licence from the local authority for your event and for the use of amplified music prior to hosting your event.
Be aware of the following hazards when using the barbecue (BBQ):
- Never leave the BBQ unattended at anytime
- Only use enough charcoal to cover the base of the BBQ
- Only use approved BBQ starter fuel or fire lighters to start the BBQ
- Never use petrol, paraffin or biofuel to start the BBQ or to revive it
- Never leave starter fuel unattended at any time
- Be careful with fatty foods, avoid using oils when cooking
- Keep children, pets, and garden games away from the BBQ at all times
- A bucket of sand is situated within the BBQ area for emergency use
- A fire blanket is provided for emergency use
- Fire resistant gloves are provided for the BBQ user
- A burn and first aid kit are provided for emergency use
- After cooking, make sure the BBQ is cool before moving the grills
- Empty cold ashes into the metal container provided
- Don’t drink too much alcohol if you are using the BBQ (note: alcohol consumption is not permitted unless an appropriate licence has been obtained from the Local Authority)
- The BBQ utensils are sharp, can cut and cause injury. Please ensure these are used in a safe manner and their use is always supervised.
We draw these matters to your attention particularly with regards to small children who should always be supervised and are the facilities user’s responsibility.
FIRE AND EMERGENCY ARRANGEMENTS:
- A bucket of sand is situated under the BBQ area for emergency use
- A fire blanket is provided for emergency use
- A burn and first aid kit are provided for emergency use
- In the event of an emergency that cannot be dealt with for example first aid emergency out of office hours, fire, security issue etc then the Emergency Services should be summoned by dialling 999
